Check out a place called BookOff if you can find one anywhere. They sell a lot of cheap series because this second hand (and the comics that usually means to read once and then sold them so super good condition). Depending on the popularity of the series that you payment is about 200-800 yen per book (and sometimes you can even buy three or four at a time for about 500 yen). A lot of comic stores selling them for approx 400-1000 yen depending on how big the book is.
