Who else is looking forward to the "Robotech" live action movie?

me! Is going to be based on "" Macross saga. The production for this is going too slow. However, it is better for producers to take their time and put a good movie than rush it and make a piece of crap. So, I'll be patient and wait for a good representation of the film "Robotech saga. bonus QUESTION: Tobey Maguire has cast himself for the "Hunter" role Rick. He was a hell of a good actor reaction fits the action type of movie. But, I do not think Tobey would make a good "Rick Hunter". Rick Hunter of age in "time Macross" is about 19-20 years old. Tobey looks too old to play a 20 year old. So, which actor do you think is the ideal "Rick Hunter"? And, ever the actor gets the role of "Lynn Minmay "is lucky and rise to stardom. The" Lynn Minmay "character is a charismatic character.

Sorry but I think you is going to be disappointed. Macross is, what, 30-plus half-hour episodes (ie 15-plus hours' worth of story)? And it is going to be compressed into a 120-150 minute film? They'll have to leave out so much, this is the story love you any more. Plus it'll (have to) is 90% computer-animated anyway. Stick the original, is my advice. And Tobey Maguire looks about 12 anyway - so why should not he play a 20 year old? (Remember, Peter Parker is still high school in the first Spiderman movie).
