Creating Animated Pull-down menus using Flash
Animated menus are integral to the dynamic target = "_blank"> Web design with Flash animation. As SWFs and Flash animated movies, animated pull-down menus to enhance the aesthetic aspects of a website. There are simple ActionScript techniques, can be used to create such a pull-down menu. The timeline control methods use ActionScript actions, frame labels, the use of button event handlers, and actions tweens to create the animation in the menus.
For any designer working in flash web design in India or elsewhere, would like to divide the timeline menu of two states: closed and open. The first frame must have a stop action to keep the menu in the original closed position and the second frame layer control action should contain a flag to indicate a frame label. The script should move the playback head back and forth between open and closed state of the timeline and open and thus give closed action in the process. Next, the movie clip timeline ResourcesGraphic which consists of a series of tween animations, should be used for each menu item, which fade the text at the bottom of the menu.
Now, the individual menu items should be created by setting the triggering event. The menu item should get Once activated the mouse pointer is rolled over it. Press events should be placed here for a tween closed and open action with the correct settings of the timeline.
Finally, in the process of development of flash animation, secondary menu animation should be set for each link. The second menu animation works in a series of rollover events triggered by moving the mouse pointer on each button on the menu. The playback head should be set in the timeline to the color change menu items and the descriptive text fades. The script should contain a rollover event and a press event. The press event should control the movement when menu button is pressed (call get URL action for the relevant hyperlink).
